Testimonials

"I have shared with you many times but it's worth sharing with you again.  Your teaching style is very similar to mine in that we both listen to our clients and see what their body is doing and problem solve on how we can make them stronger.  This resonates with me so much in our sessions.  You seem to be able to read when to push and when to back off.  You have given me the gift of having a goal with a plan and I can see it coming to fruition." - Dawn

"Justin has been one of the most important coaches through my life as of now.  When I came to him, I was in a state of pain that I couldn't even walk without it hurting.  Justin worked with me to realize that my soreness was because of how tight my body was and how to loosen it.  I now have been training with him for seven years and have not a major injury again during sports due to how he has trained my body and how to work through tightness to be able to play at my fullest strength." - Jayson

"I have been training with Justin for 1.5 years.  In that time I have gained muscle and lost fat but more importantly I gained confiedence, strength, and I always leave our sessions feeling like I have learned or accomplished something.  Justin coaches in a way that makes you feel like you are capable of doing anyting you set your mind to.  He does a great job of letting you know why you are doing certain things and what the end goal is.  He always gives "homework" to work on between sessions.  I look forward to my sessions with Justin, they are fun, motivating, and I always feel energized and strong when we are done."  - Robin

"I sustained a spinal cord injury in October 2020 rendering me a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the armpits down. I wasn’t getting what I wanted out of traditional physical therapy so I went to Justin. He introduced me to some of, what I thought were the dumbest exercises, but they gradually helped increase my strength and motor control. I then graduated to some traditional weight training. He also used his network to connect me with a chiropractor and a Massage Therapist, along with other therapy and recovery disciplines. I worked with Justin for about a year and a half and in that time he taught me more about my body than I ever knew, and still use this information to this day to continue my recovery and rehabilitation. This dude genuinely cares about each and every one of his clients and will do everything he can to understand them and help them feel and perform better." - Shane

"Coach Justin is more than your average personal trainer. Most personal trainers will hear your goals and give you the same program they've been giving all their clients for the past year. Coach Justin will help you set goals, figure out how to begin implementing small changes in your current lifestyle that will help you navigate the hustle and bustle of life and continuously guide you to your end goal. I began working with Coach Justin to help alleviate some chronic low back pain. Through the years that goal has grown to building muscle and strength, to now optimizing performance in the military. Whether your goal ranges from simply alleviating  a pattern of chronic pain or if you have a strength and conditioning performance goal, Coach Justin has the experience to help you tackle any goal within that range. The only true limiter to how ambitious your goals can be, is you. " - Logan

" Training with you was rehabilitation both physically and mentally after my injury. Training is a lifestyle and life long, but also a life saver.  As you said trauma is in the brain and in the injury. It's a long road to overcome that. Some days you had to directly deal with the injury, others you had to help direct belief in my ability to do. I am still in that battle to recover who I once physically was, with the understanding that I may be different than I was, but not worse. I will get to enjoy the things I once did, it just takes time, hard work, and belief. All of which you provide.

As for my son, his training was part physical but mostly dealing with belief in one's self.  You put him with others that complimented each other's personalities, belief and motivation.  When one had a bad day, the others were there to lift. When one couldn't focus or was too relaxed the others were there to drive the work, when one was too serious the others were there to remind of how fun things can be to just relax. You trained with the kids in mind.  Who would work best with whom, and who needed a little extra. It's amazing to see the young man my son is today. The belief he has in himself when his world was just a little dark for him, and the drive, motivation and ability to come out of his shell and offer encouragement to others is heart lifting." - Sonya

"Working with Justin is an experience. I have worked with Justin as a client, as a friend, as a student and side by side.

Justin gives more than advice or just a workout. He teaches you to problem solve for yourself. He gives you the tools to show you that you are capable of doing what ever you want with what ever your goal is.

Justin pushes your beliefs by asking the hard questions and guiding you towards a stronger belief in yourself. Helping you get your own BS out of your own way.

Justin has change my whole outlook on "pain" in movement. It has taken years to do so and that may sound like a long time. Thats just what it takes and Justin has been there every step of the way.Justin has made me a better coach myself by pushing my beliefs in movement and Jiu-jitsu. My passion for coaching Jiu-jitsu has grown because of him and can not thank him enough as a friend, student, coach and mentor" - Jason

My Origin Story

Hi, I’m Justin Heinle, and I am from Sarver, Pennsylvania, home-just 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh. This is where I grew up, and I’ve embraced it so much that I even bought the house next door to my family’s home. My fiance is also from this area, just five minutes away from where I grew up. We both share a deep love for this rural community, which we proudly call our home. It’s the kind of place where you might witness unexpected scenes, like a cow making a break for freedom and trotting down the road!

Our passion lies in hard work and cultivating the land. On our homestead, we heat our home with wood, tend to two 500 sq. ft. gardens, raise 50 egg laying chickens, care for three goats, a couple of pigs, and share our space with three amazing rottweilers and two cats!

Beyond homesteading, sports have been a consistent thread in my life. From childhood soccer to college rugby, and later hockey and more rugby as a young adult, I’ve always competed in athletics. Today, I coach soccer and track at our school while participating in local jiu-jitsu competitions.

My journey has been marked by a constant push from lifestyle, training, and competition since my early years. To stay healthy and perform at my best, I've sought support from my movement practice, nutrition, and recovery. This quest for optimal performance has fueled my exploration of better training strategies- how to stress the body enough to induce change and yet allow for adequate recovery and adaptation.

During my college rugby days, I faced challenges, tearing the labrum in both my right and left shoulders and featuring two vertebrae. This happened over a span of a couple years. The traditional model of lifting heavier, running faster, and pushing until you collapse didn’t align with the athlete I aspired to be. This realization prompted a shift in my perspective.

Fortuitously, I had an exceptional head strength and conditioning coach, whom I had the privilege of learning from for 5 years. During this time, he began questioning the correlation between an athlete’s performance in the weight room and their game performance. As it turned out, the two were far from a perfect match. Some stellar performers in the weight room struggled to secure playing on the field. This retaliation occurred in 2010 and ever since, I've been immersed in studying how humans move, train, and live.

In life, the more you know, the more questions you have, and answers become elusive. Over the past 15 years, training myself and my clients has been an ongoing process of problem-solving. I don’t offer a guaranteed system; instead, we embark on a journey of creative and critical thinking to address your unique challenges.
